Glazed Chicken Drums

A delicious Asian twist on “chicken wings.” There is more meat on the drumstick and much less fat.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 10

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons sherry
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 pounds chicken drumsticks, skinned
  1. Spray cooking spray in a large skillet, over low heat.

  2. Place scallions, sherry, soy sauce, and sugar in skillet. Bring to a boil, and then reduce heat.

  3. Add chicken drumsticks. Cover skillet and simmer for 20 minutes.

  4. Turn chicken several times during cooking.
