Bobby Knight
Bobby Knight won a pair of national championships at the University of Indiana and leads all men's college basketball coaches with 902 career victories. His teams, with a few exceptions, did not have superstars who turned into NBA greats, but they played good defense and had solid fundamentals — and they never stopped hustling. Bobby also coached the U.S. Olympic Basketball team to a gold medal in 1984. After coaching at Indiana, he moved on to coach in the Big 12 at Texas Tech University before stepping aside. Bobby was succeeded at Tech by his son, longtime assistant coach Pat Knight.
