Keeping score is a fun way to keep track of what's happening on the field, and it will give you a lasting record of the game you watched. You can buy scorecards at the ballpark, or make your own on a sheet of graph paper. To make life a little easier, you can use the one in this book as a model. The most important thing is that you have a place to write the name of each player and boxes for all nine (or more) innings so that you can put down what they do with each at bat. Names run down the left side of the page and innings run across the top. Why not try scoring the next game you go to?
