Idolatry in any form is anathema to Judaism. However, this is not to say that Judaism is without its very own special objects, apparel, and symbols, which you will find in the synagogue as well as in Jewish homes. Many of these objects and symbols were created in order to observe mitzvot, while others are derived from custom and tradition.
