The first minute or two of any interview are the most crucial. As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a great first impression, and this is when you want to do just that. By applying the skills discussed previously (proper attire, direct eye contact, and so forth), you should have no problem wowing the interviewer and making a favorable impression that will give you an edge over some of your rivals and open the door to an offer of employment.
