In Revelation, John describes a vision of a city of gold, “And the city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God lit it and the Lamb is the light of it.” Then John continues: “The nations of those who are saved shall walk in the light of the Lamb and the kings of the earth will bring their glory and honor to it.” John is trying to show that believing in and following Jesus changes every aspect of life.
