Object and reflexive pronouns, except the indirect object pronoun loro, attach to the end of both affirmative and negative tu, noi, and voi imperative forms and precede the Lei and Loro imperative forms. The indirect object pronoun loro always follows the tu, noi, voi, Lei, and Loro forms. When a pronoun (either direct or indirect) attaches to a single syllable command (da', di', fa', sta', va'), the first letter of the pronoun is doubled, except in the case of gli. With the negative tu, noi, and voi commands, the pronouns may either precede or follow the imperative form of the verb.
Non mi dica! Don't tell me! (formal)
Non farlo! Don't do it!
Non lo fare! Don't do it!
Si sveglino! Wake up! (formal)
