Fig Tart

You can use either the white or dark figs for this recipe—just be sure they're fresh figs.

Serves 10

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1¼ cups cold unsalted butter

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 10 whole fresh figs

    • Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix together the flour, butter, and sugar. Roll out the dough and place in a large ungreased tart pan.

    • Clean and cut the figs in half. Place the figs, cut-side down, on the tart crust.

    • Bake for 20 minutes.
