Thank-You Note for Personal Favor or Service
Time is a precious commodity. Nobody has enough of it, which is why when someone does you a personal favor or provides a personal service of some sort, that person deserves a note thanking him or her for that favor or service.

Dear Pat and Homer,
Thank you so much for volunteering to let the kids spend the night. Your thoughtfulness meant that I was able to get to the hospital early enough formom's surgery without needing to roust the kids out of bed and take them to the sitter's. They always have such a good time at your house, so they were thankful for the chance to have an extended visit, too.
Warmly,
Connie

Dear Janet,
Thank you so much for listening. Because of your insight, I believe I am now able to reach a good decision, based on logic, not anger. You helped me put things in perspective, and for that, I am grateful.
Fondly,
Debbie
