Writing to a Publisher Template
Many times a publisher will have its own specific way of putting together a document. This is sometimes done with macros that the writer will use in the word processor of choice. It is simply a matter of downloading the macros, then using them when writing the assignment. Such templates save the publisher from having the additional step of “formatting” the document for publication. The template macros are usually set to insert the necessary differences in font size and styles used for such things as chapter titles, heads, subheads, and body text.
