Dark Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Deep, dark chocolate is a culinary delight. When paired with flavors like raspberry, mint, or orange, the richness is unparalleled.

INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 2 CUPS

  • ¼ cup salted butter, cold
  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 1⅔ tablespoons corn syrup
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  1. Cut the cold butter into pieces, then add to a saucepan with the cream, corn syrup, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Allow to boil for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.

  3. Once chocolate sauce is smooth, stir in vanilla extract.

Mixing It Up

This Dark Chocolate Fudge Sauce can be easily changed by adding ¼ teaspoon of additional extracts with the vanilla. Mint, orange, or raspberry are always favorites, but coconut or Irish crème would be delicious variations.
