INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 1 QUART
- 1 cup sugar
- 1½ pounds fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Place the sugar and strawberries in a medium bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Cover and refrigerate until cool.
Purée the strawberry mixture in a food processor or blender with the lemon juice until smooth.
Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions for freezing.
