Orange Dream Smoothie
This is a modified take on a popular classic made famous by the company Orange Julius of America. You'll gladly forego the line at the mall after one sip of this version.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2
- 1 can frozen orange juice concentrate
- ¼ cup pasteurized egg white
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 cups crushed ice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Place everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Divide into two tall glasses to serve.
Orange Julius Drinks
Julius Freed and Bill Hamlin created the Orange Julius drink in 1928 as a way to draw more customers to their orange juice stand in Los Angeles, California. The name came from their regulars shouting “Give me an orange, Julius!”
