Chocolate Espresso Sherbet
Chocolate and coffee are a classic combination, and this sherbet marries the two in a satisfyingly delicious delight.
INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 1 QUART
- 1¼ cups sugar
- ½ cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon Kahlua or coffee liqueur
Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender, and purée until very smooth.
Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions for freezing.
