French Twist

It's hard to believe how incredible such a simple, rustic dessert can be. This French Twist uses store-bought croissants filled with ice cream and fruit, then topped with hot fudge. You'll agree: Easy doesn't have to mean boring.

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 2

  • 2 store-bought croissants, halved
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 1½ cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup Hot Fudge Sauce
  1. Toast the halved croissants in the oven until slightly crisp and warmed.

  2. Fill the bottom half of each with roughly 1 cup ice cream, followed by strawberries. Replace croissant top, and cover with Hot Fudge Sauce.

  3. Garnish with fresh berries and whipped cream, if desired.
