Candy Ice Cream Cake

Candy, ice cream, and cake? It's a dream come true! This cake allows you to change out the flavor to suit your mood. Let the candy aisle be your guide!

INGREDIENTS | SERVES 12

  1. Place one cake round in the bottom of a 9 springform pan.

  2. Top the cake round with 1 cup chocolate ganache, then 1 cup chopped candy. Spread half of the ice cream over that. Top with the other cake round, then ganache, 1 cup candy, and remaining ice cream. Sprinkle remaining candy on top, cover, and freeze at least 2 hours.

  3. When ready to serve, take out of the freezer and allow to soften about 10 minutes. Loosen and remove the sides of pan to serve.

Variations

Change out the candy for cookies or fresh fruit if you like. Strawberries or Oreo cookies would make wonderful substitutions in this decadent cake.
