Scripts for Pain Control and Stress Relief
Before writing a pain control script, consult Chapter 10, which addresses the subject. Decide which method will be the most effective for you. Start with a basic relaxation exercise, and suggest that you will experience the positive feeling of your imagery at zero, when you reach your special place. You will want to leave as much time as you need to experience the positive effects of your imagery. Constantly reinforce the goal results, and when you are ready, you may include that you may count yourself back to the surface of your mind or drift off into sleep.
To write a wellness script, image what you want to change as it is now. Then develop the healthy image that you want to replace the old one with. As you compose your script, include the suggestion that when you're deep in your trance, you'll experience the healthy image replacing the negative one. Give yourself the posthypnotic suggestion that you'll continue to feel the wellness benefits after the session.
For stress control, use a basic relaxation exercise to transport yourself to your special place. In this script, include relaxing imagery and positive feelings. You may want to ask your universal mind, guides, or angels for spiritual help to resolve conflicts or worries. In your posthypnotic suggestions, state that you may step out of your stress anytime you want by feeling the positive effects of your special place in your mind.
