Position reports to:
Duties: Process payroll for approximately seventy-five employees on a biweekly payroll schedule. Provide clerical support for Human Resource Manager. Complete any reasonable requests assigned by management.
Input numeric data quickly and accurately into automated payroll system.
Monitor employee time data on a daily basis. Troubleshoot discrepancies.
Report noncompliance of FLSA hour laws on employee timecards to Human Resource Manager.
Collect employee vacation and sick-leave sheets from department heads in a timely manner.
Meet payroll-processing deadlines at the end of each pay period.
Distribute employee paychecks.
Prepare purchase orders prior to making purchases for office supplies.
Process invoices in accounts payable system.
Enter employment applications in applicant flow log and forward applications to department head for review.
Make appointments for drug screens and pre-employment physicals.
Enter personnel action forms and benefit-enrollment data into HRIS quickly and accurately.
Answer incoming calls and communicate effectively.
