Summer Bloody Summer Ale

The name comes from an incident that cost a brewer his finger tip. Don't ever touch the belt of jammed malt mill unless you like sudden surprises! A testament to perseverance, both brewers stuck with the brew, one singlehandedly.

Style: American Specialty Pale Ale

Brew Type: All Grain

For 5.5 gallons at 1.049, 4.7 SRM, 20.9IBUs, 4.9 percent ABV

60-minute boil

Directions

Follow the Multistep Brew Process.

TIP

The beer isn't very bitter, but the hop character is surprisingly potent. This is a poster child for knowing what you brewed, not what your recipe claims.
