Grilled Salmon with Peach Salsa
Salmon steaks are rich and smoky tasting when cooked on the grill. Pair them with a fruity and spicy salsa and you have a healthy dish that's a winner.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 6
- 6 5-ounce salmon steaks
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
- 2 cups Tropical Salsa
- 2 peaches, peeled and cubed
Place salmon steaks in a large baking dish. In small bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, salt, and pepper and pour over steaks. Cover and marinate for 2–4 hours in refrigerator.
In medium bowl, combine Salsa with peaches; cover and refrigerate.
When ready to eat, prepare and preheat grill. Remove salmon from marinade; discard marinade.
Cook salmon 6 inches from medium coals for 10–15 minutes, turning once, until salmon flakes when tested with fork. Serve salmon with Salsa.
