Anxiolytics

Anxiolytics, or antianxiety drugs, are used to treat PMDD don't adequately reduce symptoms, or if the woman suffers from anxiety symptoms as part of PMDD. Antianxiety drugs as lorazepam, alprazolam, clonazepam, and buspirone are treat panic disorder, insomnia associated with anxiety, alcohol and epilepsy, and are given before some surgical and procedures as a preanesthetic. Lorazepam is sold under the name Ativan; alprazolam is sold as Xanax; clonazepam is known Klonopin; and buspirone is sold as BuSpar.

Anxiolytics can be physically and psychologically habit–and they have a significant number of side effects, including headache, nervousness, dizziness, and increased hostility aggression in some people.
