The nursing aides perform bedside care, the dental assistants perform office and some chair-side care, the pharmacy techs count out the pills to fill prescriptions and assist pharmacists with other delegated tasks, the therapy aides perform specific activities and exercises with the patients as directed by the therapist, and the surgical techs work in the operating room with the surgical nurses.
