Paco Peña began his professional career at the age of twelve. After touring with various groups as an accompanist, he settled in London and began a recording and concert performance career as a soloist. His television appearances in the 1960s afforded him more success. He has held an international festival of guitar in Córdoba, where he now resides. He has played concerts with John Williams, widening his popularity with the classical guitar audience.
