Use Your Legs
Isn't it great that the most eco-friendly ways to get around are also the healthiest for you and your family? Walk or ride your bike whenever possible and you will save money, decrease the wear and tear on your car, reduce pollution, and get lots of great exercise.
If you are pregnant, talk to your health care provider first before you start adding a lot of walking or biking to your exercise regimen. And be careful biking, as your center of gravity will shift throughout your pregnancy. If you are new to biking, try sharing a bike with your partner until you get the hang of it, or pairing up with a more experienced cyclist as a mentor. Another great way to get exercise is to use the stairs instead of elevators and escalators whenever possible.
