Charting Software

Computers to the rescue! As with many other things in your life, your computer can help you with charting your fertility. There are many different programs available for nearly every platform to help you track your fertility charting. Some of these programs are free, while others are very expensive.

There are all manner of programs, encompassing a wide variety of different options that you can choose from. Some software includes built-in support to help read and interpret your charts; others simply help you track the data, leaving it to you to interpret it. Some fertility charting programs track only the very basics, like your temperature. Other programs allow you to track multiple symptoms in addition to your temperature.

Talk to your practitioner and your friends about what they may be using. Toni Weschler's Taking Charge of Your Fertility offers a special charting package to work with her book called OvuSoft. There are many choices in fertility charting software available, including OvuPlan and Baby Start.
