In the last month of pregnancy, as you await your sweet arrival, it's hard to stay positive about the whole experience. On the one hand, you have those well-meaning people constantly commenting on how “ready” you look (even weeks before you actually are — further prolonging your agony). On the other hand, you have your own feelings of anxiety and concern over everything from whether the baby's room is really ready to trying to imagine a pain you've never felt before (but, no doubt, have been frightened by — thanks to the stories of every other mother you know).
