Quality daycare is in high demand — and some daycare centers even have waiting lists months long. If you wait until after the baby is born, you may have trouble finding a daycare situation you feel totally comfortable with — and waiting too long could mean you'll have to settle for less than your ideal.

Planning is really the key to finding a good daycare; taking the time to develop your plan well in advance of your baby's birth will eliminate additional stress later on. Start checking out daycare options as soon as possible — as early as your third month of pregnancy.
