Unclassified Nouns

There are a small number of nouns that do not belong to Class I, Class II, or Class III. Even though they have to be declined like the weak declension in the singular, you have to attach an -s in the genitive singular as with strong nouns. These irregularly declined nouns are weak in the plural and end in -(e)n, but do not acquire an umlaut.

Exercise 29

The singular and plural of the word der Glaube (“belief”) are used in the following examples. Some of the examples have mistakes in the nouns that you must find and correct.
