Mixed Adjectives: Adjectives Preceded by ein-words by Jeffery Donley, Ph.D.
Ein-words are ein, kein, and the possessive adjectives. The ein-words have the same strong endings as the der-words except in three cases, where the ein-words have no ending at all. These cases are nominative masculine and neuter and accusative neuter. In these cases the adjective ending is a strong ending.
If, however, the ein-words have an ending, then the adjective has the same weak ending as after a der-word.
