Hide-and-seek can be played either outdoors or indoors, depending on the number of players and the amount of space you have. Any number of participants can play this game.
Appoint one player as “It.” This player stands at a home base, turns around or closes his eyes, and counts out loud to twenty, while the other players hide. He then opens his eyes and begins to search for the other players. If he finds a player, he chases her, and tries to tag her. She has to run back to home base before It catches her. If It does catch her, she then becomes It and everyone else hides. If she is not caught and makes it safely back to home base, the first player is still It and must find and tag another player, and so on.
