TV, Radio, and the Internet

Depending on where you live, you may be able to access some French TV shows or radio broadcasts. Many television shows are available via satellite transmission, while others are broadcast on local special-interest stations, and many French radio stations are available via shortwave radio transmissions. Check your local listings for details. You can also find a good number of broadcasts on the Internet, in addition to other French resources available on the Web.

The Internet has made an impact on the entire world, bringing it much closer together. There is an incredible variety of French Web sites available, including sites that will help you with your pronunciation by providing you with sound clips to listen to. Don't forget about this wonderful free resource while you're learning the French language.
