Roasted Chestnuts
Try roasting these over an open fire to capture the wood flavor from the smoke.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 6
2 dozen chestnuts
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Cut an X into each chestnut on the flat side.
3. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes, turning frequently.
4. Peel while still warm.
