Mini Pizza Crusts
Make these pizza crusts, partially bake them, then freeze. Then, whenever your kids want pizza, let them pull these crusts out of the freezer, assemble, and bake!
INGREDIENTS | YIELDS 12 crusts
- 1 recipe Pizza Crust
- 1 tablespoon solid shortening
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
Make Pizza Crusts through Step 3. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Using 3 cookie sheets, grease four 6″ circles on each with the shortening. Sprinkle with cornmeal.
Place dough on each circle, dividing evenly; press dough into an even layer, using plastic wrap to protect your hands.
Bake 7–12 minutes, or until set and very light golden brown. Cool completely; use in recipes or freeze.
You can use these straight from the freezer. Just top with toppings and bake as recipe directs, adding a few more minutes to the baking time.
