Valrhona Chocolate Fondue

Serves 6

1 pound bittersweet Valrhona Chocolate

⅔ cup heavy cream

Madeleines

Dried pineapple rings

Orange slices

French chocolatier Valrhona always has a major presence at Pastry World Cup competitions.

  • Chop chocolate into small pieces. Combine with cream in a saucepan.

  • Over low heat, melt chocolate into cream. Stir constantly until mixture is smooth and thick.

  • Pour chocolate fondue into a fondue pot and place over heating source on lowest setting. Have guests dip Madeleines and fruit into chocolate and discuss flavors.
