Martinis and Fondue Mixer Menu
Credit the resurgence of the martini — that hallmark of James Bond, the Rat Pack, and swanky 1950s-era nightclubs — for bringing cocktail parties back into vogue. The original martini recipe has been variously credited to several late-nineteenth-century American bartenders. There's no telling who actually invented it, but in recent years, it has definitely evolved. A martini can be a dry gin-and-vermouth cocktail, or it can be offered in a kaleidoscope of colors and flavors. Either way, martini sampling is as good an excuse for a party as a bubbling fondue pot is.
