Ingredients

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup Crystal Light lemonade

½ cup low-sodium ketchup

1 clove fresh garlic, minced

½ teaspoon all-purpose seasoning

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons gin

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 tablespoon green chilies, finely chopped

Lemon flavors are quite popular in Philippine cuisine. If you make any other recipes that require you to use juice, go for the sugar-free version; this recipe uses Crystal Light.

  • Spray a 9" × 13" baking dish with nonstick spray. Place the chicken in the dish, being careful not to crowd the meat.

  • In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over the chicken and cover with foil.

  • Bake at 380°F for 45 minutes.

Fruit Versus Fruit Juice

It's absolutely better to eat whole fruit than drink juice. Fruit juice often has some of the nutrients found in fruit, but it loses most of the fiber. Juice is often loaded with sugar and will never fill you up like chewing on actual food will! Stick with calorie-free beverages and make real produce a daily part of your diet.
