Veggie Galore Pizza
1 large whole wheat pita
2 tablespoons marinara sauce
¼ cup shredded fat-free mozzarella cheese
½ teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
1 teaspoon bell peppers, diced
1 teaspoon white onions, diced
1 tablespoon broccoli florets, chopped
1 tablespoon tomato, diced
This pie is perfect for a friendly, healthy get-together. Vary the veggies on the pizza according to your tastes and what you have in the refrigerator.
Spray a small pan with nonstick spray and bake peppers, onions, and broccoli in oven at 350°F for 6 minutes.
Top pita with marinara, mozzarella, basil, baked veggies, and tomatoes. Cook at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes, or until cheese has melted, or microwave for 45 to 60 seconds, or until cheese has melted.
