2 cups green apples, peeled and chopped
2 cups strawberries, chopped
¼ cup Egg Beaters
1 mashed ripe banana
1 cup oatmeal
¼ cup Splenda brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Fat-free whipped cream to top
You can tell a banana is ripe when the skin turns a dark yellow. Bananas that are still green are not as sweet and are quite firm.
Combine apples and strawberries and pour into a baking dish. Combine other ingredients except whipped cream and pile on top of the fruit.
Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling. Top with a squirt of fat-free whipped cream.
Start by holding the apple steady on a cutting board. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin by pushing the peeler away from you, top to bottom. Turn and peel the apple until it's bare. The apple peel is full of fiber, so keep it if you can!
