Sweet Potato and Cassava Chips
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled
2 large cassavas, peeled
½ tablespoon olive oil
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon sea salt
To add a variety of flavors to your chips, substitute paprika, curry powder, chili powder, or Parmesan cheese in place of the garlic powder and sea salt.
Thinly slice sweet potatoes and cassavas so they resemble potato chips. Gently combine potato and cassava slices with oil, garlic powder, and sea salt.
Coat a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Place chips on cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown and crisp.
