Ingredients

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled

2 large cassavas, peeled

½ tablespoon olive oil

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon sea salt

To add a variety of flavors to your chips, substitute paprika, curry powder, chili powder, or Parmesan cheese in place of the garlic powder and sea salt.

  • Thinly slice sweet potatoes and cassavas so they resemble potato chips. Gently combine potato and cassava slices with oil, garlic powder, and sea salt.

  • Coat a cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Place chips on cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown and crisp.
