In the entertainment industry, the players are many, and their levels of power vary. Studio executives, actors, directors, independent producers, agents, and screenwriters all have a part in getting movies made. A-list, or big name, talent can command a certain movie, screenplay, or salary, but only a select few filmmakers, actors, and directors have the power to green-light a movie just with their name. Ultimately, money is the deciding factor, and those who can consistently bring in the most money are those who wield the most power in Hollywood.
