Infant Toys
Your baby's toys might be some of the most high-tech items that you have in the house. These fancy toys can talk, record your baby's voice, and even sing your baby to sleep. Some toys can be controlled by remote control, so you don't even have to go in and reset them if your baby hasn't fallen asleep yet when they stop playing.
Although not all of your toys have to run on batteries, having a few of these types of learning toys can be fun. Balls, blocks, and drums that play music, interactive dolls, and books that talk can hold your infant's attention and encourage her development.
Keep in mind that your older infant is likely to be just as happy playing with toys that don't talk or play music, so don't feel that you have to spend a lot of money and buy every high-tech toy available.
