The Reagan Trade Building
One of the newest federal buildings in the city, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center was designed by James Ingo Freed, the architect for the U.S. Holocaust Museum and Memorial. You'll see a giant slab of the Berlin Wall covered with graffiti when you enter from the Federal Triangle side, and an underground food court that caters to office workers. The walls are lined with contemporary artworks, and there is a gift shop selling Reagan memorabilia. With its Federal Triangle entrance, the Trade Center is also a great air-conditioned shortcut to the Mall on an extremely hot day (or a heated one on a cold day).
Location and HoursThe Reagan building is open during business hours and closed Sunday. The food court is open from 7
