The International Spy Museum
This is a relatively new museum to the city (opened in 2003), but it is utterly charming and entertaining. It takes somewhere between two and three hours to see and is like no other museum. You are given an alias when you enter the museum to tour through the history of spying, with an emphasis on American spying activities during the twentieth century.
James Bond's Aston Martin is here, as well as an extensive display on female spies, a duct tunnel your children can crawl through, and some good exhibits on famous spies of World War II and the infamous Cold War. In short, the International Spy Museum is wonderfully interactive. The museum also hosts a great gift shop and a nice cafeteria where you can buy “killer sandwiches.”
