Small Can Be Beautiful
Here's a story that demonstrates how having a small trailer does not necessarily limit the fun you can get out of your RV experience: One couple with two young children aged three and five traveled from southern California to southern Ontario in Canada and back over a three-week period. They towed a small pop-up trailer behind their six-cylinder Chevy Astro van. The majority of time they stayed only a night or two in one location, and it was a memorable trip for the fun and togetherness they experienced. They had a set routine with both adults having their part in getting the trailer set up. They were able to get everything set up in about twenty minutes by the end of the trip, they said. They both felt that this was one of the best vacations they'd had; they saw a lot of the country, met some wonderful people along the road, and were able to do it without breaking the bank.
For the small family on a budget, the traveler who wants to be closer to nature with a little more comfort, or the traveler who is not comfortable pulling a larger trailer, the small towables are great.
