Limited Space

There are many strategies the RV traveler can use to live comfortably in the limited space of an RV.

Cook Outside

Carry a portable grill or use the outdoor grill to cook as many meals in the great outdoors as possible. Food always seems to taste better when cooked over a charcoal file. Pick up a cookbook of recipes for the grill to keep your meals varied and interesting. Hamburgers and hot dogs every meal would be pretty boring, to say the least.

Contain Clutter

A place for everything and everything in its place. Clutter in a confined space can quickly become overwhelming. Visit your local discount store and look at the bins and boxes and storage options they sell. Here's one way to contain clutter: save hotel-size containers of shampoo, soap, and lotion for use when traveling. Most discount, grocery, and drug stores carry travel-size packages of most of these grooming items. If you run out, you can replace them easily.

ESSENTIAL

Camping and RV stores are a treasure trove of smaller travel-size items, but they can be expensive. Before you buy anything at these stores, check with your local discount store for similar items at a better price.
