There will be times during your travels when you will want to plan meals for special occasions. While you may not be able to cook an elaborate Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings in your RV galley, you can prepare a wonderful and memorable meal for your family.

You may want to check with the proprietor or manager of the RV park you are staying at. Some have small “party” rooms with kitchen facilities you can use while staying there for a small fee or cleaning deposit. Some families have their own RV family gathering or reunion with several families and generations meeting for these special occasions and this type of party room is great for that type of gathering. You will still need to plan carefully to prevent too many leftovers, and you will generally need to supply dishes and table coverings. These are the times when disposables are especially wonderful.
