This might be the closest thing to heaven for today's kids. The four floors of interactive electronic gadgetry will satisfy every member of the family. Interactive is the byword as you explore, witness, use, and wonder at the latest in technology and digital entertainment.

You can create your own movie, jam with musicians, or design a video game. There's an HDTV theater. This place has it all — Tech in the Plaza demonstrations, animated films, arcade events, Saturday children's screenings, family workshops, and kid workshops.

Hours and Fees

The museum flips the on switch Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Closed Sunday, Monday and major holidays.

Admission is free, but this is a popular museum and requires dated and timed tickets. Tickets are distributed on a same-day basis, but get there early. Get advance registration (still free) one week to three months before your trip.

Call 212-833-5414 between 9 A.M. and 2 P.M. weekdays or visit the website for further information.
