Getting Around Monterrey
Monterrey is the best connected city in northern Mexico. A modern network of roads and highways connects it not only to the rest of Mexico but also to the Texas border, only 120 miles away. You'll find that renting a car is the best way to get around. The city has not only good signage but also a sophisticated electronic traffic monitoring system. Transportation from the airport in Monterrey is regulated. The only other way for you to traverse the forty-five-minute drive into town, other than by rental car, is by airport taxi. Prices for the twelve-mile one-way trip are fixed at about $6. For pick-up service
