Family-Oriented Hotels
Most of the family-oriented hotels are located in the Zona Hotelera, a four-mile-long beachfront section called Boulevard Miguel de la Madrid adorned with benches and potted plants, shade trees, and sidewalks, three miles north of town.

With 550 rooms and suites, Club Maeva was Manzanillo's first all-inclusive resort. Today, it caters to American and Canadian families in the winter and Mexican families in summer. Kids under eighteen stay at reduced rates. The all-inclusive package includes all meals and drinks, as well as all water sports, horseback riding, entertainment, and even Spanish lessons. In addition to kids' playgrounds and the largest pool in Latin America, there are seventeen tennis courts and an on-site water park. It also features a kids' club for ages four to seven.
Hotel Gran Costa Real

Located on the Península de Santiago, this 332-room, nineteen-story all-inclusive hotel has a great restaurant, pool with swim-up bar and lots of activities, tennis courts, spa, and live entertainment. Rates include all water sports, golf, and tennis. Children under seven stay free, with a kids' club and child care available.
Karmina Palace

This 324-suite, deluxe all-inclusive resort rises above the northern end of Playa Azul. With interconnected pools, nightly shows, several restaurants, and a kids' club for ages four to twelve, as well as game room, and waterslide, it's the perfect family hotel.

A good family value, this villa hotel offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, each complete with kitchen and air-conditioning. There's also a pool and restaurant.
