Toon Lagoon

Take your favorite comic strip characters, add some water, and you have the makings of some lighthearted fun that's suitable for the entire family. All of the rides in this area are family oriented and aren't really considered thrill rides (with the possible exception of Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, which ends in a mighty splash).

Keep in mind, many of the rides and attractions within Toon Lagoon are waterbased, so be prepared to get wet (and possibly soaked).

Based on Rocky and Bullwinkle, the popular cartoon from the 1960s, this water-flume ride takes guests on a wild and wet adventure around a 400,000 gallon lagoon. This ride ends with a major splash, so be prepared to get wet. Also, be sure to protect your camera, camcorder, and other valuables from the water when you experience this ride.

HOT SPOT

On the bridge that overlooks Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, passersby have a chance to squirt water at those brave enough to experience this water flume firsthand.

This wet and wild water raft ride has its turbulent moments, but overall it's suitable for people of all ages who don't mind getting wet. Twelve people at a time ride in specially designed rafts that travel along the man-made river at about 16 feet per second. If you're carrying valuables or other items you want to keep dry, consider putting them in lockers or within the center (watertight) compartment of the raft before the ride begins.

While this is a fun-filled and rather exciting ride, if the weather is chilly or you don't want to get drenched, consider skipping this attraction. It does, however, offer an awesome way to cool off on a hot and sunny day. As if the water along the ride weren't enough, people on land (exploring Popeye's boat) have a chance to squirt water at those aboard the rafts.

Popeye the Sailor Man invites guests (primarily younger ones) to climb aboard his three-story boat and partake in a fun-filled exploration. From bow to stern, the boat is loaded with interactive activities and things to do. There are water cannons to shoot, whistles to blow, organs to play, bells to clang, and plenty of things to crawl and climb through. If you're traveling with young kids, this will be a fun-filled stop.

Pandemonium Cartoon Circus

Within this amphitheater, live shows and special events are held throughout the day. To find out what live shows are being presented during your visit, check the Adventure Guide booklet offered at all ticket windows.
